Authorization period
After approval, the standard authorization period is 90 days. PTCB currently permits candidates to request up to two additional 90-day extensions through the account, subject to the current fee and timing rules.
Name and identification must match
Confirm the appointment name matches the approved government-issued identification and PTCB account before test day.
Schedule early
Testing-center availability varies. Leave time for a reschedule, accommodation arrangement or document correction before authorization expires.
